Task digests in Telegram: everyone gets their own list on their own morning
Not everyone on the team opens Notion every day, and a shared broadcast at one time reaches someone at night. This solution sends each person their tasks from active projects to Telegram at the right local hour.

Estimate for your company
≈5 h
a month of a coordinator’s reminders
Assumption: 15 minutes a day of manual reminders × 20 working days (our assumption)
This is a calculation, not a promise: plug in your own volumes and the figure changes.
Before
- Not everyone opens Notion every day, so tasks get missed.
- A shared broadcast at one time lands in the middle of someone’s night.
- The coordinator spends time reminding everyone of their tasks by hand.
What was built
A personal digest
The bot collects a person’s tasks across active projects and sends them in one message.
Local time
AI works out the project’s time zone, and the digest arrives at the right hour.
One-step sign-up
A person messages the bot, which finds them in the database and links their Telegram to their record.
Summaries on request
Bot commands return an AI summary of a project without opening Notion.

Questions
How does the bot know when it is morning for someone?
AI works out the time zone from the active project’s data, and the send time is then computed by ordinary code.
Does anything need setting up?
Only message the bot once: it finds the person in the database and starts sending digests.
