Solution · reliability and meetings
Google Calendar → Notion: meetings appear where the team works
Meetings live in Google Calendar while tasks and notes live in Notion, and the link between them depends on memory. This solution moves events into Notion every 15 minutes with their participants, puts a link to the page back into the event, and clears cancelled meetings out of Notion.

Estimate for your company
≈4 h
a month of copying meetings into Notion
Assumption: 40 meetings a month × ~6 minutes to create and link a page by hand (our assumption)
This is a calculation, not a promise: plug in your own volumes and the figure changes.
Before
- Every meeting is entered twice, in the calendar and in Notion, and sooner or later they drift apart.
- There is no way from an event to the meeting notes, or from Notion back to the event.
- Cancelled meetings stay in Notion as dead weight.
What was built
Sync every 15 minutes
New and changed events create or update pages in the meetings database, without duplicates.
Participants as Notion people
Event participants are matched to Notion users by email, guests included.
Links both ways
A link to the Notion page is added to the event description.
Clean-up
Pages whose event disappeared from the calendar are archived. Tasks are left untouched.

Questions
Why not the built-in Notion Calendar?
It shows events, but it does not create a full record in your database for each one with relations, participants and notes.
What if an event is rescheduled?
The change is picked up on the next sync and the page is updated; no duplicate appears.
